Advise your broker to transfer from your account to the Foundation’s account at Schwab, such as:

Note on equity transfers: Please send the Foundation a copy of your instructions to your broker or a separate note advising of the transfer. e market value of the stock when received is the amount you can itemize as a deduction on Schedule A of your tax return. You will be advised of the receipt of your donation and its market value when received. Also, if you plan to make periodic transfers to any recipient, your broker will accept a “standing order” allowing you to phone transactions for any recipient you have designated, at your convenience, any time in the future.
